Above-Ground Pool Installation Proposal

For Diego & Family

Diego — thanks for reaching out. Three honest paths to get a 24' round pool installed in White River Junction. The Good package is a no-heat starter at $7,000 — quality install, no heater. Better and Best both include propane heat: Better with a 100K BTU Hayward, Best with a 200K BTU plus salt and a variable-speed pump. Pick a tier, customize from there, and the total at the bottom updates as you go.

A note before you start

About this pricing.

This is built sight-unseen from what you shared on Thumbtack — a 24' round above-ground pool, full setup, at a property in White River Junction. The Good package is the no-heat foundation; Better and Best include a propane heater with LP fitting coordinated through Bourne's Energy. I've assumed standard site conditions: roughly level ground, accessible by truck, electrical service close enough to run a circuit, and (for Better/Best) either an existing LP tank on-site or a clear path to install one.

The numbers below are a starting point, not a final contract. Before anything is signed, I'll come by for a brief site visit to confirm site access, ground conditions, electrical routing, and the LP supply path. If your site has anything beyond standard — heavy slope, ledge, restricted gate access, long electrical runs, longer LP plumbing — the pricing will shift accordingly, usually upward.

Walk through this on your phone. Pick a tier, then customize from there — every component swap shows its price delta, and the running total at the bottom updates as you go. When you've got it dialed in, hit Submit at the bottom and I'll reach out within 24 hours to schedule a site visit.

What's included in every tier

Universal commitments.

Regardless of which tier you pick, every install includes the following.

Brand-new 24' × 54" round above-ground pool kit (wall, uprights, top rails, bottom rails, hardware)
Hayward skimmer and return-jet assembly, factory-new
New beaded vinyl liner (gauge and pattern your choice below)
Gorilla Pad pre-cut floor padding
Full site prep: clearing, grading, and washed mason sand pad
200 lb of #20 silica filter sand
Equipment connection plumbing (flex hose to filter)
Initial chemistry startup with written CPO report
Two-year Dylan Hoyt CPO workmanship warranty
Manufacturer warranties pass through to you (kit, liner, equipment)
Certificate of insurance ($1M/$2M GL) issued before any work begins
Full installation by a 2-person crew (24–32 labor hours)
Step 1 — Choose your foundation

Pick a tier. Customize from there.

Each tier is a complete, drop-in install. Pick one and the components below will snap to that tier's defaults — then swap any individual component up or down. The running total adjusts as you go.

Step 2 — Liner selection

Liner gauge and pattern.

The liner is the only thing between thirteen-thousand gallons of water and your backyard. It's also the single biggest predictor of how long the pool lasts before its next renovation. Vinyl thickness translates directly into years of life in the Vermont climate.

Liner gauge

Good and Better include 25-mil standard. Best includes 30-gauge / 28-mil premium. Swap up or down on any tier — the total adjusts.

Liner pattern

Pick the pattern that complements your yard. All five options ship at the same price.

Step 3 — Equipment

Filter and pump.

The Better tier ships with a 21" filter and a 1.5 HP single-speed pump. Best upgrades the pump to a Hayward MaxFlo variable-speed unit (energy savings of $400+/year in season). You can swap either independently.

Step 4 — Sanitizer

Chlorine or salt.

Honest take from a Vermont CPO: chlorine is the right call for a 24' above-ground pool here. Salt cells corrode aluminum components, cost more upfront, and the Vermont season is short enough that you don't recoup the salt premium. That said, if low-touch maintenance matters more than first-cost, salt is a real option.

Step 5 — Optional add-ons

What else?

None of these are required. Check what you want. The total updates as you go.

Step 6 — Logistics

Your details & site notes.

Quick info so I can follow up with an itemized invoice. The site notes help me come prepared for the visit.
