About

Dylan Hoyt, CPO

Rochester, Vermont

Born in Vermont. Moved to Myrtle Beach at fifteen to live with my grandparents, and started working that same summer — hospitality maintenance and pool jobs at Wyndham Ocean Boulevard and Paradise Resort. Seventeen years later, that’s still the work.

What grew out of those first jobs was a career in resort hospitality and aquatics: line-level pool work, facilities engineering, and eventually executive facilities management at properties where keeping the pool open mattered to revenue, not just to a maintenance calendar. The CPO credential came in along the way, through PHTA. I also spent several years running a mobile repair operation in Myrtle Beach, which sharpened the equipment side — but the foundation has always been hospitality and aquatics.

We moved back to Vermont to raise our two young children in the state where I grew up. We’re in Rochester, and we service all of Vermont. Dylan Hoyt CPO operates on the same principles I learned at fifteen, working resorts: show up when you said you would, document what you did, and quote in writing before anything starts.
